How to add music to itunes playlist without it going into the library?

I have a whole bunch of songs that i want on my ipod but i do not want them in my main library. I just want them in the play list. How can i transfer the songs into itunes without it going into the main library? Cause i just want it to go into the playlist. hope you understand what i am trying to say :)

I don't think that there is a way to create a playlist without adding your music files to the main library
