Why does my ipod only play from the back speakers in my car?

Can i get a thing to play my ipod nano through my car speakers (other than a cassette..?

    just buy a car adaptor for ipod and if you want to use it to your home stereo, buy an audio cable for ipod. you can buy this items from radioshack, or any electronic store. apple store also sells those.

there are so many options, yes it can play through the radio, those dohickies go for about 100 bucks, you can also get a docking station for around 200 if you wanna play it at home or you can get a simlpe audio cable for like two bucks to plug it into your stero at home, it doesnt charge it as it plays like the other two options do though. the audio cable is a male mini to male audio rca
