Virtual life apps for itouch?

Do apps (iTouch) use alot of battery life?

  • Answer:

As mentioned already, it depends on the application. Apps which use the accelerometer, bluetooth and have high quality graphics do eat up the battery fairly quickly, however simple apps will not use it up so much. Keeping your iPod's screen brightness low also helps to extend battery life, and so does using WiFi alot. If you are running OS 3.0, ensure you turn bluetooth off when not in use, as this also eats battery life. ~!MOO!~

For the most part yes. It also depends on what it is app its using. Viewing videos/ and youtube videos drain the iPhone's battery like crazy And many game applications with good graphics also tend to drain the battery. Also any app using Wi-Fi can drain quite a lot of battery. So sometimes its good to turn off Wi-Fi for the sake of saving a little bit of battery Hope this Helps :D

depends on the app. if its like tap tap revenge 2.6 free and play only ONE song, the battery would go so fast that 1/5 of the whole battery life would be gone. However, if u just have an application called 4400+ cool facts, it wouldnt touch a part of the battery life

It depends on the app and what you are doing with it. If it is a lot of video like things (like a game) it is going to take a lot of battery, where others are going to take less. But pretty much any app is going to take more battery than playing music.

Some use more than others, but all apps do use some battery life. Only listening only to music, your iPod will last longer without recharging.

That depends on the specific app, but anything with video and/or a back-light is going to use more power than say, playing music with the back-light automatically turned off by a timer.

NONE

Depends on the app, but probably. If it's an animated app, where you are moving, then it will use more then an un-animated app.
