You can put it on an mp3 player. You may need software to convert it from the itunes file to an mp3 format if it's not already in mp3 format, but I'm sure you can find the software online for free. I've put itunes songs on my daughters Sony Walkman mp3 player. I didn't have to convert them at all, but her Walkman takes more formats than just mp3.

As the music in iTunes is encrypted with DRM, you cannot directly put it on any non-Apple MP3 player. The easiest way is to burn the music to an audio CD and then rip it back to Windows Media Player or a similar program as an MP3. Or you can get some software to help you. I use TuneClone to do this.
