Which amazing new app should I get for my itouch?

If I backup my current iTouch, and than get a new iTouch will I lose all of my app data?

• Please help me, I'm getting a new iTouch soon, just want to know if I will lose my Angry Birds data, my Smurfs Village data, all my junk...thanks

  Whatever you backup on iTunes will stay on iTunes, regardless of whether or not you sync your new iPod Touch. Just backup all of your data in a set of folders. (It's generally better to put music in one folder, apps in another, etc.) Then, you can sync your new iPod to those files or even select certain things to sync. You can still buy apps and music on your new iPod, but you have to make sure that you back them up before you sync your iPod. In case you happen to make a mistake and accidentally lose a purchased item, you can still get it back for free by re-downloading it.
