Should I get the Ipod Nano or Ipod Touch?

For watching video and having the ability to listen to music too you should go with the touch. You can get a case or sleeve for it like people have for their cell phones. I would get a screen protector in addition to that too. Those two things will make it very durable.

Sound quality is pretty much the same (I've listened to both). The bigger screen does make videos look much better, but if you aren't going to watch that many, it probably doesn't matter too much. Video quality on the Nano compares fine with the Touch, it's just a smaller picture. The Nano is much more durable, its screen is smaller and sturdier. Basically if you aren't interested in games and apps, you would do fine with a Nano - and I think there are a few apps - mostly games - available for the Nano anyway.

it depends really ive had a nano and now i have a touch, and i prefer the touch tbh. but it depends what you prefer, if you want something that does a bit of everything then i'd say touch but if you just want it for music, then nano. but seeing as you said video, the touch does have a bigger / clearer screen... :)

i would get the touch, the sound quality should be the same, and the bigger screen is nice to have, it is also easier to navigate on a touch, the nano has better durability, because the ipod touch screens can crack if you hit with something.

I think you would be better with the ipod nano,my self i have the ipod touch and it freezes up sometimes but other wise they are both good. Movies and videos would be better on the ipod touch though becuase of the size of the screen,its depending what you like. I myself like the ipod touch beacuse of the large touch screen and wifi

Sound quality is determined by the file type and the speakers, not the device. The bigger screen does make a difference when watching video but how much you should factor that in depends on how much you'll use it to watch video. Compare the two at a local reseller such as Best Buy. The video recorder is actually quite impressive for what it is, but if you're expecting some high-end camcorder quality, you'll be disappointed. It's just a nice little bonus feature for video to upload to Facebook and such. Because of its size and glass screen, the iPod Touch less "wearable," but you don't want to treat either roughly.
