How do you put music in your mp3 using Windows media player?

I am trying to put music onto my new mp3 player using windows media player version 11.?

  • I've managed to rip music to my hard drive. How do I convert it to MP3 format? When I'm ripping it it saves is in WMA format which works but when I click to save it in MP3 format I get a message saying that I can't do it? Does my software need updating?

  • Answer:

you need a convertor for this. www.effectmatrix.com - it's a free trial but if you don't need it anymore after converting this song, i think it's okay

when you transfer it to your mp3 player windows should auto maticly change it to mp3 formate but dont take my word for this. if you really want this to work good try downloading real player. and putting the music on your mp3 player from there. with real player you can change what formate the computer will rip the music from. like if i have a cd i can set real player to save those as mp3 formate and then when i be able to just trasfer them to that mp3 player in mp3 formate and there you go hope this answers your question
