How do i delete songs off my ipod nano?

you have to update your itune first, then re-synch it to your nano.

Do the following- 1.Connect your ipod to the computer, open itunes, and click on your ipod icon. 2. then click on all the songs you dont want and say delete. 3.Then say yes to the deletion pannel and the songs will get deleted.

Do the following: 1. Connect your iPod to your computer. 2. Open your iTunes. 3. You should see the Ipod icon on the left side of the window. 4. Click on the song you want to delete. 5. Once the song is highlighted in dark blue, press delete on your computer keyboard. 6. A deleting panel will open up and you should say yes to it. 7. The song is now deleted.

you cant take the songs off of your iPod when you're listening to it, but when you have it plugged into your computer go to iTunes and then click on your iPod playlist once it shows up. from there you click on the unwanted songs and then hit the delete button on your keyboard. if you delete it from this list, it doesnt delete it from your library. just the device. ;)
