My ipod is lost (presumably stolen) how do track it down &....?

Only if you registered your ipod. When you register your ipod it makes that unique ipod's code go to your name. SO if its reported stolen or missing, if anyone tries to use it they can do something about it.

mine got stolen and i said the same thing but they wont do it because ipod doesn't have a tracking on it so no luck there. but also which one is it?

sad... if i was u, i would be more devastated abt the fact that ive lost my music collection... cant even imagine that... there seems to be no way u can get it back but only if someone gives it to u...

was it an iphone? if it has the phone in it then it is possible to track it down, but thats very expencive and iv only ever heared of the police doing that in orer to track down the PERSON who has the phone. not to find a phone. sadly it doesnt seem like there is anything you can do. the ipod is probably covered by your house insurance (usually things worth £500 or less are covered), you could make a claim for the money to get a new one.

i believe that in every electronic device there is a GPS system in which, hopefully, the APPLE store can track it down and find it. best of luck.

Sorry its gone. Probably nothing you can do but get another one. If you had it engraved or something there maybe a chance the person who found it may return it but very doubtful.

there's nothing you can do if it was stolen unless you see someone with it as you can't track them soz. x

i dont know how but i understand they can be traced contact the company who makes them and they can tell you how
