How do you delete songs and/or pictures off of your iPod?

How do i synch my pictures into my ipod, if my pics were moved to an external drive?

  • I just bought an external drive for the purpose to move all my music and photos to my external drive, so my pc's drive can free up some space. Today while I synched some songs to my ipod i guess my photos that i had in my ipod deleted , since yesterday i moved my photos to the external drive why didn't my ipod was able to save this photos? My photos are still saved in my external drive but I want to know how to get this photos back with out moving my photos back to my pc's hard drive. One other thing if I move my songs from itunes to my external drive do I have to move my itunes and itunes library to the external drive. yesterday I down loaded some songs to my pc's computer I want to move them to the external drive. I'm kinda worried that if I do my ipod won't be able to read the music stored in my ipod because if i delete that music stored in my pc drive later on when i go to itunes and synch my ipod it wont be able to read. I need help and I hope I'm making any sense right now I'm comfused and frusterated. I will appriciate your help

    When your iPod screen pops up in iTunes when you plug it in, go to the Photos Tab. There you can change which folder you want to sync pictures to the iPod. You'll just have to browse to the external hard-drive and choose the folder where you now have the pics. Make sure you click "Apply" at the bottom right of the screen when you're done.
