A GOOD RECORDING SYSTEM?

Audio system usb recording?

  • Hey We were looking for a hi-fi audio system with CD and cassette players only. I understand now they don't come anymore with out VCD and DVD players, so that'd do. But what's with the USB recording? Is it the same as Video Cassette Recording? Or is it just recording from the device that's being played on to the Flash Drive? I really want to clear this so we can make a decision fast. Clearer, does USB Recording give facility to record from cable TV, or just the device being played by the system, like deck, CD VCD DVD??? Thanks in advance. PS. We have found the systems, one has USB, other doesn't, I live in Pakistan and advised my dad not to go for something not yet understood in my country, you know a bit behind technologically, so don't wanna take the risk, tho my dad's ready. <eyes roll> Whatever, help fast please, thanks.

    Are you talking about a USB recording interface? That's a completely different thing than CD and DVD. A USB recording interface is used to connect a microphone or 1/4" instrument cable to record audio tracks onto a computer. It doesn't seem that's what you're looking for.
