How to get music from computer to mobile?

How can I get music from my iPad to my new computer without wiping my music?

I've just got a new computer, and I have an iPad with all of my music on it. I uploaded all of my songs to iCloud from my iPad, which was for free, but now iTunes is telling me that it costs money to get those songs onto my comptuer from iCloud. Is there any way to get all of my songs from my iPad to the computer, even without using iCloud?
