How do you replace the battery in an iPod classic?

IPod nano wont turn on?replace battery?

  • I have a first generation 2g iPod nano. This mornin I was running late. I unplugged my iPod and once I caught my cab, my iPod wouldnt turn on. When I went home I plugged it in, nothing happened, (and I was listening to it before I plugged it in so it had bettery left) The hold button isnt the problem. I checked apple.com and that didnt help. I got my iPod for xmas last year so its almost a year old. Can the rechargable battry die that fast? How do I replace it, And should i? (I do not wanna replace my iPod cuz mine has been VERY personalized and I honesty hate the new nanos, they dont have a white one and they look too much like the mini)

  • Answer:

Try plugging it back into your computer if all else fails take it to an apple store near you and see what they can do. If you dont have an apple store I would call them. Good luck.
