• I got an 8g ipod touch last week w/ 1.1.4 firmware and... 1. Will the jailbreak void my warranty? 2. Can i reverse the jailbreak? 3. Will this brick my ipod? 4. Does ziphone work? 5. Will i be able to keep the maps, mail, etc. apps after the jailbreak? 6. What is the best way to jailbreak an itouch? 7. Do the benefits outweigh the risks of jailbreaking 8. Have you jailbroken and ipod touch, and if so, what are the most useful/fun apps. 9. I'm 15, and do you think i could figure out how to jailbreak and itouch... and i have a very good knowledge of computers. 10.   answers in order... 1. i dont know, i never had a warranty. 2. again i dont know. 3. it wont mess it up. 4. i used ziphone on my 1.1.4 ipod touch 8 gb and i love it. 5. to jailbreak it you need to restore it first so you lose all songs vids and photos. if you have them on the computer then youre fine. also, if you lose the mail, maps etc... you can install them on installer. i did. 6. use ziphone http://www.ziphone.org/ and follow the instructions. downoad the app and look at instructions. 7.YES =-) i have a gameboy advance and gameboy color and nes and super nes and ps1 and a whole lot of othe stuff. im very happy. 8. i jailbroke my ipod and (refer to #7) i really like the gameboys and iphysics. im still looking for the best apps but i would reccomend gpsphone and the nes. you have to add scources to get all of what is on there, contact me for more info if youre stuck. 9. i know only little about computers and i did it. you should be fine. 10. not really. if you overload it the gameboy runs slow and sometimes stuff freezes but not often contact me if you need more help [email protected]
