Why does my iPod touch keep dying?

IPod touch return or keep?

  • OK. On Oct 21st, 07, I bought my first iPod, the iPod touch. After reading all these peoples comments about how they are going to wait to see if Apple comes out with the 2nd Generation iPod touch, I don't know if I should return it or keep it. I am a person who always wants to be at the top of technology chain, meaning I want the newest things. Do you think that Apple is really developing a new iPod touch 32GB? Because I am now thinking of returning my 8GB for the 16GB. I have the money but I don't know. I am just so freaked out. And worse is that my cousin just got the iPhone. Now he is going to flash his iPhone at me. I have no idea of what I should do. And my warranty from Costco for the return policy is about to end soon. So, Apple better come out with it soon before I go crazy. But would Apple really release the same iPod the same year and after a few months out on the market?

  • Answer:

Yeah, your just like me. I always have to have the newest electronics. I too have never had an ipod, but I just ordered the 8 GB ipod touch on Friday and it should be arriving tomorrow. See the problem is that there will always be something new coming out whether it is from apple or any other electronic company. I would suggest you stick with the 8GB touch unless you think that may not be enough room, in which case you could upgrade to the 16 GB. I'm sure they will come out with another version of the touch but thats just how it goes. Hope your decision goes well.

personally, i would keep your ipod touch becasue heck, there really nice. my dad has one (he likes to be at the top of the tech chain like you) and he was talking about a 2nd generation ipod touch but said it wont be for a while. heres some info on the iphone 2nd generation: http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/17/second-generation-iphone-for-249-in-september/ although it is about the 2nd generation *iphone*, think about it. when they came out with the iphone, they cameout with the ipod touch. if they come out with an iphone second generation..... see where im going? i'd keep it, because at the looks of it the 2nd gen iphone looks smaller, meaning less memory in most cases. Good Luck making your decision!

i never get things when they first come out... its best to wait a few months so they can work out all the glitches.

It is pretty much guaranteed that they will come out with a newer edition in a couple months, but, if I were you I would keep it because it doesn't matter when you buy the NEWEST iPod, there will just be a newer one coming out within a couple months anyway so you should just keep yours and enjoy it.

Keep the ipod u have now. its very good

Definitely return the touch. My dad has the iphone and if you get the 16 gig that should be enough memory. On the iphone you could go on youtube if you're out of memory so I reccomend the iphone as a better overall choice. Also if you get the iphone its more fun to brag about!
