Is there something else i can use for an ipod touch 8gb as a mic?

i have am too cheap to buy the headphones that have a mic built in so i was wondering if there was a different solution to my problem: i want to use one of the VoIP apps on ipod but i need a mic, i have a ipod touch 8gb (think it is 3rd gen) i just want an alternative to the headphones that come with the iphone, bluetooth headset? headset with mic for a computer? i am not very good with Ipod tech =P

Sorry your out of luck the 8gb 3rd gen model did not get upgraded with any new hardware features! Only the 32gb and 64gb 3rd gen models can do that.
