How do you create an itunes account without a credit card or paypal?

My brother just got an ipod for his birthday. I was trying to help him set up an account, but he doesn't have a credit card. When I set mine up years ago, It didn't ask for a credit card. It had a choice of paying with itunes cards. That is no longer on there, is there a way to set up without a credit card or paypal?

Get a prepaid debit card. You can buy them just about anywhere. I've seen them in convenience stores, Walmart, all over. Make sure it has a Visa or MasterCard insignia. They work just like a regular credit card and are safer since if the info is stolen they can't clean out your bank account. There is a small set up fee but it's worth it. You can reload them any time you want with as much as you want. Hope that helps!

just use your parents credit card to setup the account. Then go to the iTunes store and on the right where it says account, click on that and then it will ask you for your password. Then were it shows the credit card info that you put in to make the account there should be a list of credit card types: visa, mastercard, discover and paypal and next to paypal there is none. Click that box and then go to the bottom of the page and click done.

Well you need some sort of credit card/paypal/etc. because you have to pay and last I checked (that was a while a go so I would check to make sure) you could not pay with checks or cash through mail. Hope you find a way! Itunes rocks! P.S. I don't think you can use itunes cards sorry!
