How do you download music on to an Ipod?

How do I download music onto my new ipod?

  • I just got a new ipod for my birthday and I am trying to download music onto it. I know how to download the music onto the ipod but the icon is not appearing on my computer. I don't know why. Its plugged in like its supposed to be but the icon is not coming up. No matter how many times i unplug it and plug it back in. It does ot work. DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?????

    You need to download itunes first then plug in your ipod to the computer go on itunes. You will find your ipods name there go on it. then there is going to be a sync button click on it. All the songs on your itunes will go on the ipod. To put all the songs from your computer to the itunes is that you can drag the songs in the itunes or you can right click on the song and go on open with and select itunes. I hope this helps you!!!!

it should work. just open iTunes. plug your iPod into the computer. & voila!

Is itunes dowloaded? look on My Computer under the (E:) drive. if nothings there its not hooked up.

try instaling itunes into your computer with the CD brought with the ipod. then try it again

hey you have download music first on your PC then you can transfer those song through itunes which will SYNC all the music you have downloaded and then you will be able to put them to your iPod. if you don't have any music downloaded then try http://www.kptunes.com to download music and when you think you have enough music download then connect your iPod using a USB cord and on iTunes click on files and then select start SYNCING. if you want more info then feel free to ask me. First download music on your PC with flickr music then transfer the music to your itunes music folder then sync your ipod with your PC and transfer. I've been looking for ages for some of these tracks! You need to try out MP3Lingo.com. It is a fairly new service but they are getting really popular. go to itunes click file click oepn file or something then choose song then u got it

when you go onto itunes it should show up after that. then u drag ur purchased music over where it says "your i-pod, or whatev you named it"
