What exactly will happen if i jailbreak my ipod?

If I jailbreak my ipod touch what will happen ?

  • Will it bloc some feautures from apple ? or not be able to do things that I was able before jailbreaking ? or it will only add a feauture to download and install thirs party apps ? it is like a normal ipod touch just that i can play other games or emulators ?

    jailbreak means it opens up the itouch to free apps (alot of them, more then apple can offer) and change the background. you can also get newapps that is not on apple. Bad side is if you jailbreak, warranty is off or canceled and if you don't succeed jailbreak, your itouch is ruined. Hope this helps!

Jailbreaking your Ipod touch is a great thing. Even though its illegal and who knows who will find out. You can add apps not available through Itunes, like a playstation emulater or a gameboy, have a music quiz thingy like the ipod, and have a theme running on your ipod like a mac or vista there is also a way to get free apps on your jailbroken ipod but the only downside about it, if you mess up jailbreakin, you will have a brick touch, but no need to worry about it, because you can use ibricker to un brick it the only way apple wont be able to use your warranty if you still have your ipod bricked or have the jailbroken firmware but with that you can easily restore it via itunes if you have the 2g touches, theres no jailbreak for it yet but if you want to find out more visit ispazio.net or ipodtouchfans.com both reccommended good luck chief!
