How do you turn on your ipod touch?

  • Ok i just got my ipod today and it keep fallen asleep but i don't know how to turn it on back when it has fallen asleep what do i touch to wake it up.And what do i touch to get back to the home screen.

    For both, you press the button at the bottom with a square on it. Also, to put it to sleep, press the long, thin, rectangular button on the very top of the iPod. If you want to shut it off completely, press it until it asks you to "slide to power off". I wouldn't do this unless you really want to, however, as it tends to take a while to start back up again. Press the Home Screen button to wake up the iPod touch after it has fallen asleep. Then, move the slider over to the right, using your finger, to unlock it. To return to the Home Screen, simply press the Home Screen button (this works when you are viewing almost any screen). Good luck! Blake

ok...you hav to press the top left button to turn on and hold for a few seconds to turn off.and the center button gets u to home screen..but if it is on press the top left button once to make it fall asleep then press the home button to wake it up.:)

All you have to do is hold down the button on the top left of the ipod. Then you get to the home screen by pressing the round button on the front under the screen. Have a fun time with your ipod!!!

Push the top button on the top of the ipod (thin button on the left) THen a screen with the slide button should come on.

Either the one on the upper left hand or the center button then slide the icon to the right and done! unlocked. Press the "Home button" to go to "Home" :)
