Itunes gift card question...?

Well, my computer isn't working. And you know how there's iTunes on your iPod [so you don't have to go on to iTunes on your computer] Well, I might get an iTunes card but my computer won't let me download iTunes for some stupid reason. [my computer messed up] But I went on iTunes via iPod and the only way I saw is through credit card. But is there a way to put the code from the iTunes card on to your account, using your iPod? to choose like payment method credit or card? I only see credit card. HELP? If you wondering how I put music/games on my iPod before just fine, it's because my computer was working just fine then. NOW it's not.
