How Do I Use An iTunes Gift Card?

  • How do I use an iTunes gift card I put the code in the reedem section and when I go to buy a song and I put purchase it takes it out of the credit card, how do I get the money$ out of the gift card not my Moms credit card

    After you get your card, go to the "Itunes Store Home" and in the top right corner there's a small list. One of the options should say "redeem". Click on that box and put the code that is on the back of the itunes card in the box where you can type. It will tell you how much money you have in the small box next to where it says your email.

You cant have an iTunes card and a credit card on the same iTunes account, it just wont work.

when buying things in iTunes select gift card

put the code into the redeem thing and save it

Once you redeem it, it should go to your account and take what you buy off of the gift card amount. Make sure you're redeeming it right and that the gift card amount goes into your actual account.

you have to change payment type. it should allow you to do this somewhere on the screen.

go to account settings at the itunes home and change the sorce of where it gets the money from the credit card to the itunes card.

if you have the new version of iTunes, go to the iTunes store and select payment method and then giftcard and enter the gift card number. then start purchasing as normal!
