Is it legal to change the youtube format to .mp3?

How do I change the format of downloaded songs from mp3 to a format my car stereo will play?

  • It's a 1999 Mazda P/U with factory stereo and won't play CD's that i burn in mp3 format. Can i change the format before burning?

  • Answer:

you have to burn them as audio, not as data (mp3 cds) as a result you'll only be able to fit 20 tracks ish per cd upgrade your car stereo to an mp3 cd player stereo

#1 option: Replace that old CD player with a newer version that can play MP3 songs. #2 option: Burn downloaded MP3 songs into audio tracks (CDA) playable on a regular CD player. How? Download the free version of Music Match Juke Box from http://www.musicmatch.com/. Read the online Help, install it, burn and enjoy. #3 option: Your CD burner should come with a burning software, which should let you burn mp3's into audio tracks. I use Roxio Easy CD Creator.

if you use windows midia player, make a play list, and then click the "burn play list" butten then it should be in standerd format. if you can't get the song in windows midia player then copy the songs to: My documents>my music, and then windows media player should find them fine. if your still having trubble then E-mail me or if you have an apple then sry I can't help.

You will need to change them into either *.wma or *.wav files in order for the stereo to recognize them. I use the Dell MusicMatch Jukebox for my conversions.
