How do you jail break an ipod touch and what does it do?

How to un-jail break an iPod Touch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??

  • i no longer want a jail break ipod. before it was jail broken, i bought a ton of apps at the apple app store. I'm using a different computer now, and my itunes did not re-download the apps i had before on my account, but they are on my ipod still. i want to un jail break my ipod, and keep my apps. help!!

Run a backup of the iPod. It will back up your apps. Then restore the iPod. Now, restore it from the backup. It kept the apps, deleted the jailbreak when I did it. And next time, get a USB flash drive (a cheap 2 gB one will work) and back up the files for the apps. That's the best way to avoid this situation (I went through the same thing, and then went right out and got myself a flash drive to backup all that important stuff) Good luck!
