ITunes Music Transfer?

Not all my music is in itunes folder--how to transfer playlists?

• I got a new machine and want to transfer my itunes music from my old laptop, while retaining all my playlists, playcounts and ratings. However, not all my music is located within my itunes folder. Maybe 1/3 of my music is located in another folder, in which all of the subfolders were manually added to my itunes library. Is there a way to retain all the goodies I want in the transfer, even though I've got multiple album locations outside of the itunes folder?
