When is the iPod Touch 3rd Generation coming out?

    It came out already. The 3.0 firmware that was released today technically makes the iPod Touch 2G into a third generation iPod Touch. (Assuming that you actually buy/download the 3.0 firmware) -There is NO camera. -It still has WiFi. -The WiFi is free. -Look at the updates here: http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/softwareupdate.html

ok the ipod touch 3rd gen wont come out til late october/early november so people buy it for Christmas. and it probably won't have a camera because then its neary an iphone which they want people to buy more. and it better still have wifi but wifi is from your internet router or someone elses which you have to be connected to. it doesn't just magically pop out of the sky. i think you should wait because then you won't have to buy and upgrade to 3.0 software. but if your eager and really want it now who's to say you cant? hope i helped!

There are rumors that a 7 inch iPod touch is being released in the fall of this year. It is supposed to be tablet like. I don't know if those rumors are true. Try researching it a bit and see what you find. Right now i have no clue what the different specs would be. :D
