My iPod touch is having music problems?

Ipod touch worth it for my uses??????

• I love music..i have the old ipod 20gb(click wheel) with the black and white screen...its has been having alot of problems..that would cost more to get it fixed than if i just bought a new one..i was wanting a new one anyway..i was looking at the 32gb ipod touch...i use my ipod when im lifting weights in the gym and i also use it to hook up to my car sound system and listen to it going down the road..i like the idea of getting the ipod touch with all the nice features yet i wonder if it is really worth the money and if it could be hooked up to my car sound system( my car cable works with everyone model except the ipod shuffle i believe) i didnt know how sturdy the ipod touch was or if it was even worth the $450 they are asking for it on ebay...im also worried that i will mess up the tocuh screen smudged fingerprints..whats your opinion..i have to buy one soon since my is almost dead...opinions?

  iPod Touch is okay for the gym, but the best in that scenario is the iPod Nano or Shuffle. It is definitely worth the money, and the iPod Touch has the same connector as the other iPods, so it should work with your car. The touch screen won't be messed up by smudges, since it's meant to be smudged (it's glass, which has the most smudges...why they used glass? Glass is the material that's least prone to scratches) All the things you just described can fit any iPod except the Shuffle. 32 GB is well worth the $450. Do you really want all those features? By the way. At the end of June, Apple comes out with an update (iPod Touch users pay a small fee due to accounting policies) where it will let you install and run native applications/games. So it's worth it. But are you willing to spend the money?
