Should i keep my ipod touch or get my money back?

• here is my problem today i bought the ipod touch 16gb i spent 214.00 on the ipod its self then i spent 28.00 on Accessories i enjoyed it but my dad says it can do everything your laptop can do he says you can get a dog if you get your money back i have always wanted a dog but i am feeling disapointed because i thought my dad would like it what should i do get my money back or keep the ipod touch also if i did want my money back would the shop return it ihave the resipt the shop i went to is called HMV i have damaged the instructions i accidently put the instructions on a wet surface i have used a screen protector so what do i do tell me plzzzzz iv got 3 choices save my money get a dog or keep the ipod

  I have an ITOUCH..the one thing that's great about it is that you don't have to drag around your lap top..you can use the i touch in the car and play games. It's very hand held and convent. They have a lot of free games and app programs. I think you should keep the itouch if this is something that would always use. You need to have WI-FI to be able to run safari or any internet used programs, a lot of places now offer free wi-fi. In the end the choice is yours. A dog is a great thing to have, but its a lot of responsibility!!! good luck
