How do you add songs from iTunes to your iPod?

How can I add songs to my iPod without using iTunes?

  • I have recently been forced to format my PC due to an error and didn't have a chance to take a copy of my songs. Now they are all gone and I only have them on my iPod. If I plug in my iPod to my PC and synchronize it through iTunes, it will remove all my songs on my iPod since they aren't in my library anymore. Is there any way for me to add new songs to my iPod without having to synchronize with iTunes?

  • Answer:

    When you open iTunes, make sure the setting for downloading new songs is set on 'Manual', otherwise it'll erase all your current songs. If it's set on manual when you plug your iPod in, you can add new songs without the old ones being removed.

go to www.yamipod.com they have this program that will copy the songs back to your iTunes library, just follow the steps on your screen

I use lime wire and download the songs i want then i drag them to the sync list on windows live then click sync. That easy. Hope it helps!

use limewire or beemp3.com limewire works better but you have to download it but yeah I think you shoudl get limewire so you dont have to buy all the songs
