LCD vs LED tv, whats the big deal ?
-
whats the difference between LCD and LED tv? And what is 720p vs 1080p? Does it only make a difference if it's in HD? Does it even make a difference to the average person? Im not tech savvy btw

Answer:
LED TVs are LCD, they simply have a different type of backlight, the number (480, 720, 1080) indicate the resolution, the higher the number the more detail. Yes, it only matters when you're viewing HD content and what matters most is how much you're willing to spend.
