Question about digital TV reception?

I have a roof antenna and Direct TV. The roof antenna cable is connected to the "air in" jack of the Direct TV D 1-2-100 box. The satellite dish cable is plugged into the "satellite" jack on the same Direct TV box. The box is connected from the "out to TV" jack to the "cable/antenna" input jack on a Sony Bravia TV...When I select Auto Program on the TV to receive my digital channels they are there but the Direct TV channels have to be reprogrammed in to recieve them again. When I auto program the Direct TV channels in again the digital over the air channels are gone. Is there a way to program the TV so it will hold both the Direct TV channels and the over the air digital channels without having to reprogram each time?

Try this plug aerial into TV and program Tv then setup as you now have it a program your direct tv that should work if not do the programming in reverse
