Are samsung f480's good?

Is a Samsung 55 inch 1080p 120 hz smart LED HD TV a good tv?!?!?

• I just bought a samsung 55'' 1080p 120 hz smart LED HD tv for $1499.99.........someone's now telling me that the hz is too low...that it should be like 240hz for good quality picture....that when watching football, there is better quality out there....why does one have 120hz and another has 240? can someone shed some light on if it's a good deal/tv or what....I feel like because its samsung, and samsung is a better quality tv in general, that the hz wouldn't matter...as compared to a lets say Vizio with 240 hz or something....Thanks!!!!

  It's a good top spec TV and Samsung is a great brand. I have just read an article which states that the difference between 120hz and 240hz is simply a reduction in motion blur. I will provide a link to the full article, but the following part will be of interest. "In terms of what kind of premium you'll pay for a 240Hz TV over a 120Hz model, you're currently looking at somewhere between $200 and $400, and we expect that by next year the gap will be even smaller. So, is it worth the premium? At this point, the answer is probably no. "
