Signal problems with HDMI cable, PS3 and HDTV?

Problem with HDTV, HDMI or PS3?? cant figure it out?

• Well im having problems with my Samsung HDTV, the tv is not even one year and i dont know if its that that is giving me the problem. I have my ps3 connected via HDMI cable. So the problem is that once or more a day, my tv freezes the image. Its not the ps3 because i pause it and turn off the tv, now turning it off take a lil longer than usual. when i turn it back on it works fine and ps3 is still paused. or sometimes it give me some weird colors on screen as it freezes. Can this be the tv or the hdmi cable?? also, a few times a day, after i exit a game. it give me a weird highpitch mosquito sounding audio. so i also have to turn off the tv and turn on for this. please help. this is getting irritating!!!

  In order to trouble shoot you need to isolate each component. Try the PS3 on a different tv with the same cable. The the PS3 on the current tv with a differnet cable. Try using a dvd player with that cable on the same input on the current tv. Try all variations until you see which of the three is the issue. It could very well be the cable which is a $10 fix.
