How do I program the channels on my old TV?

Old Edison TV -- Program Channels w/o Remote?

  • Hello, I found an old Edison television. Seems to work alright, except the channels have been programmed wrong (ie: if I'm at channel 02 and press channel up, it goes to 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 13 and skips 6, 7, 10, 11, 12...). Unfortunately, I did not find the remote :-( Even worse, I can't find a single document on Google about Edison televisions (this is model #CTSG-9774, even has a built-in VCR). Is there any way to program the stations without the remote control? I can't seem to find a universal that works with it, either. Thanks, Jason

  • Answer:

The tv was made by a company now called Broksonic.their website is here- http://www.broksonic.com/MainCTSGT-9774CTT.htm but it's pretty useless. You can get a new remote for $19.85 from http://www.emtcompany.com/broksonic-ctsg-9774-remote/rc64.htmlor even a universal remote should work. Hope this helps. Cheers N'oz Edited to add:Found a way to contact them, just go to http://www.broksonic.com/ and use the contact us link at the bottom of the page, they should be able to help you program it.
