Hi connected a ps3 console to a lcd tv screen 32" by HDMI lead and cannot get the sound.?

this is what you can do to discover which are the defective items you have. 1.connect the ps3 to a tv using yellowRedWhite (old cable) if your ps3 games have a sound on the tv your ps3 unit is not defective of it's sound card/driver. 2. test your HDMI cord with a computer or laptop, if sounds plays on the tv, then your cord and tv hdmi port is ok. if no sounds, then one of them is defective 3. you can buy a new HDMI cord at cdrking P150 if sounds work with ps3 works, then your old HDMI cord is defective, if no sound then your TV's hdmi port is defective this 3 steps will helo you determine if it's your ps3, HDMI cord, or any device's HDMI ports are defective.
