Why does my internet tv buffer so much?
-
I bought an internet tv with built in wifi. I've tried to watch catch up tv on it, i.e. BBC iplayer, but it buffers constantly, about 50% of the time it's buffering. I watch bbc iplayer and stream other tv on my laptop and it pretty much never buffers. If I plug my laptop into the tv, I can stream anything I want without any problem, but that defeats the object of having an internet tv! I have a fast internet connection, so that isn't the problem. Is this a problem with all internet enabled tv's? Or is mine faulty? Or is it that they've used a poor quality processor or memory or something?! It's a Toshiba tv model 32UL863. Wifi's built in, no dongles or cables. Thanks!

Answer:
Sounds like the connection from the TV to the router is slow.
