How do I program the channels on my old TV?

How do i program my tv remote when i cant even change channels at the tv set ? is my tv broken ?

  Sounds like you need to get your buttons fixed, but that won't affect your remote's ability to change channels if it's a BUTTON-PROBLEM. Where is your ORIGINAL Panasonic remote at? They are not designed to reprogram to another TV set, they are designed to program to audio amps, and cable boxes only. If it's broke, you should buy another remote. Of course you CHANGE channels using the Digital to Analog converter box, so are you ATTEMPTING to set the TV to channel 3 ? If so, just buy an LG UNIVERSAL REMOTE at your local Target store, program it to Panasonic, and PRAY your TV set isn't like.... 1000 years old ! Because they do dump the OLD codes for OLD TV sets and replace them with NEW codes for NEWER TV sets. Get the LG universal remote. It's the one that can work on MOST brands and MOST ages of TV. It truly is .....UNIVERSAL.
