Why am I not getting any sound through my TV from computer?

LCD TV making Buzzing Sound?

• ok first are details. It is a 42" Polaroid LCD tv. pretty sure it is 42" TV is about 2-3 years old now. Anyway started about a month ago. At first I would turn the TV on there would be a loud buzzing sound and the screen would be blue (normal color for no signal). After a couple of mins the buzzing would start to get quieter and eventually fade to nothing and the picture would pop up. After a while it would take longer and longer for the picture to come up and the buzzing to go away. It is now 15-20mins. and now when watching normal TV channels the image pops on an off. (going from blank to on) while making a poping sound... couple of things I noticed that are worth mentioning. Turning the volume all the way down has no effect on how load the buzzing is. But pushing Mute makes it go away.(unmuting brings it back) till if fades of course. Second. Image only a takes a while to come up when watching cable TV. If I put a DVD in and change to a different import Image comes up right away and plays beautiful like nothing is wrong with the TV. Except for the buzzing which i have to wait till it fades. So basily the TV can no longer watch normal Cable channels. only good for watching DVDs and Playing my Xbox or hooking my computer to it. Seems all import channels are fine except the coaxle cable channel. Cable line goes right to the tv. i dont have a box. Thought maybe I could get a box and hook it up with Video wires to one of my other import channels eliminating the need for the cable wire...but I wouldn't solve the loud buzzing sound that happens on start up and is slowly getting worse.

  ok i had a service call for this same issue for the same exact tv... basically you need a new tv the guy took his to a shop and they told him there was no way to fix it
