What is the difference between LCD and Projection TVs?

Is there a big difference between the series 6 and the series 8/9 Samsung LCD TVs?

  • The series 6 LCD Samsung TVs have been a big hit in 2008 but is there a big difference between the 6 series and the latest 8 and 9 series LCDs from Samsung? When i say a big difference i mean only in performance not features. Im not too fussed with features such as internet connectivity and the such...i just wanna knw is the pic quality that much better..?? or is it worth it just to go for a 6 series and avoid the extra expense of the 8/9.?
