Why is my dlp tv flickering?

Directv problem with tv! white horizontal short flickering lines?

• Every Directv person that comes out can not figure out what the problem is. So I have a TV that is a Dynex and it is hooked to a standard receiver. There is one more standard receiver in the house and two hd receivers. All of the TVs are fine except this one. There are these constant flickering horizontal white lines that usually are on the left side of the screen that constantly flicker. When I put a dvd on or play a game system the tv does not do this at all, and when we had cable it did not do this at all either. Since day one it has been hooked up these white lines started to happen. They are about two inches at length at the longest. It is on every station and when I switch receivers to an hd receiver the tv is fine. It is not the standard receiver cause we switched both of those and they both cause these lines and work fine on the other tv, the other tv is an older model tv though. The one causing the problems is an LED TV. They want to charge $150.00 for an hd box and extend the contract and I don't want to do that, I hate directv! Is there anyway to fix this problem? I tried hooking up through the vcr, switching the channel from 3 to 4, all of that stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Its not Direct TV, menu on the tv or set-up on direct tv. I got a upgrade free for my HD box.??? Format or input.
