Plasma tv vs. lcd vs. led.

Is plasma/lcd or led TV right for me?

• i have just gone through a really tough year and i wanted to treat myself, so in the next 2 months im thinking of upgrading to a large flat screen tv, i have heard a lot of good things about plasma,lcd and led tvs but im still not sure what is the best tv for what im doing. here is what i know i want. i know i want a 47-52 inch screen, and 1080p, and 240 hz (although i have heard that doesnt matter for plasma) most of what i watch on the tv is sports. i'd say 70% of what i watch is sports, 25% is regular cable tv, and the other 5% is movies and gaming...so i guess the most important thing to me is not a lot of blur and a crisp picture. as far as price goes i really dont want to spend that much money, i know that LED is kind of expensive right now but is it really worth it? if its really that much better than plasma and LCD then i guess i can wait a few more months to save up the money for it, but if plasma or LCD is just as good for what im looking to do it might be better to save some money =) also i usually have the tv on a lot throughout the entire day, it helps me sleep to have it on and makes me more productive when im doing homework for some reason lol. so if the amount that its used makes a difference keep that in mind.

  If you want itfor sports, plasma is a good choice for you.It have better picture, deeper black than LCD tv and also have no motion blur with 600Hz and faster response time also with cheaper price.
