Whay was the tv show alf cancled?

Does it matter what format I record the tv show on a different tv?

  • I am recording a tv show for my mom with vhs tapes. I have a vizio 46 inch tv and she has a 32 inch regular box tv. If I record a tv show that has the black bars on the top and bottom on my tv, then will it be on her tv as well? There is also an option for me to zoom it on my tv to get rid of the black bars, but I don't know if it will affect her tv when she is watching it if I do that. So should I zoom in the tv or should I leave it on the normal view with the black bars when I record the show? Or does it not make a difference what format I record it on such as zoom, partial zoom, letterbox, or normal?

  • Answer:

Doesn't matter. Because I don't believe the recording takes place "ON THE FLY" between your internal TV synch circuit to the picture amps before the final display circuit. Even in computers, you cannot grab signals from inside your monitor then recording it on the HDD. (Of course, tweaks are available to change appliances away from their designs.) But in this case, the only "tweaking" available that I can think of is hardware "destruct and reconstruct".
