Connecting a new dvd player to TV?

Connecting DVD player to Samsung Smart TV?

My DVD player has the red, white and yellow wires on both ends and another plug to plug into an outlet. Where am I supposed to plug in the red white and yellow wires into the TV? There are no specific marked (with color) plugs to put them in. What do I do? And if there are can you tell me where they are located? If there is not how else can I connect my DVD player to this TV?

Your tv should have a labeled "component" input on the back. This cluster will have green/blue/red inputs, as well as nearby labled audio red/white. So connect your audio via red/white to the labeled audio input there, now for your yellow video plug from the DVD player...even though it's not matching, the green input is where to plug yellow into. On most samsungs the green port will be outlined with a white circle. Select component on your tv input menu & it should work.
