What is comcast cable doing now? Some of my channels are gone!?
-
Comcast has altered our stations. Before, we got channels 2-9, 12-27, 55-74. Today I turned on the tv and channels 55-74 are now gone! Our cable company keeps taking away our channels! Does anyone know why? Or have an idea? The bills were paid and everything, so its not that. And we have cable not dish so its not like we aren't getting a signal. This is really obnoxious, does anyone know whats up? or why they keep doing this? This is the second time its happened! grr...lol

Answer:
It is not you. They have been removing a lot of channels from analog this past year. They are doing that because analog wastes bandwidth they could better use to add channels or interactive services to their system. You will need to get a DTA or cable box from your provider to continue to receive the channels.
