How do I turn my tv on without a remote?

NEED TO TURN TV ON WITHOUT REMOTE?????? HELP!!!! TV BRAND SHOV,, I KNOW ITS **** BUT HELP ME!!!?

  • i have a really bad tv. it works fine but u need the remote to turn it on. and my mom took the remote so i wouldnt play cod at night . i was like THIS IS BULLCRAP!!. does anyone know how to turn it on withouT a remote. when i press the button on the tv it just show the red and thats it. its brand is SHOV.

    official response: i do not condone this type of behavior, follow your mother's advice. unofficial response: if you look around, there are some gadgets that you can get from magic shops that can turn on tv's by sending out a whole bunch of different frequencies. then you can get virtually any tv on or off with one remote.

You can either borrow a friend's old ( or extra) remote if they upgraded to a (new) universal remote or got cable, or pick up a universal one Yourself for like $5.00. But She's propbably right about not playing games at night, especially the online ones. Night is the hunting grounds for all kinds of people who want bad things for a kid these days. Good Luck!.

i dont know that tv but sometimes just press the channel up down button. or press av and go through the dvd player.
