How can I fix my tv when it won't turn on?

Each morning when I try to turn on my LG Flat Screen TV it turns off, how can I fix this?

    It must be the sleep timer. Read the instruction manual about how to switch the timer off.

That is the result of capacitors failing on your power board. It's a very common problem with LCD tvs three to four years old. If someone in your family can solder, you can remove the back of the tv and look on the power board and see if the tops of the capacitors are bulged up, if so, they need to be replaced. Put your exact make/model + capacitor repairs into a search for info on the procedure.

This doesnt sound like the problem. But sometimes TV will take a long time to respond to a button press. And you get in this cycle of turning it off and on and it never comes on. I've done that a few time :) Other than that, maybe it has an auto off feature when it doesn't have a signal? Do you have a cable box or some kind of video player hooked up and going when you turn it on?
