Looking to buy a 37" to 42" LCD TV but not spend a lot of money any suggestions?

Westinghouse from Target. Awesome TV! Whatever you do, do not buy the Polariod from Walmart. Terrible reviews.

Try Wal-Mart. They have a big selection of off-brand TV's that size that are really comparable to name-brand TV's costing hundreds of dollars more. If you not going to use high-end devices with the TV (blue-ray, HD-DVD), then you shouldn't see much of a difference in picture quality plus the prices are really good this time of year.

The best thing you can do is learn all you can about options for HDTVs, LCDs, etc. Did you know the size of your room has a lot to do with what size TV you should purchase? Knowing this and other information will not only save you a lot of money, but it will allow you to get the best TV for your viewing pleasure. What I learned from the book saved me about $400 and I am sure it will save you money also. Do your homework now and save some money.
