im trying to hook up a tv to computer capture device, i plug my av cables into the output of the tv and then the cables into my computer. problem is the output is displaying channel 5 and i need it to display video 5 on my computer, is there anyway to change the output channel. note i don't have the original remote note: i am using easycap 2.0 grabber

Computer just records the audio and video signals. It has no power to alter the channels. what ever adjustments to be made has to be made on TV with or without remote control. Adding external or internal TV Tuner to your computer , you can alter the channels, volume etc. Then you do not need TV set at all.l
