Is there any type of tv cable splitter?

Can I add another tv to my cable tv when I am already using a splitter for an internet connection?

  • Can I use a triple splitter with an additional coaxial cable to set up a second tv? What effect does a triple splitter have on my quality? I plan to use one or the other tv at any given time, not both. But I do use my tv and my internet at the same time. What can you tell me? Thanks.

  • Answer:

Yes, you can add a 3-way splitter to your line. However, if you notice your signal drops add an amplifier before the splitter. Only use a 3-way though if that's all you need, don't use a 4-way if you don't have to..

Yes, all you need is a coaxial splitter with multiple outlets.

you can use a triple splitter if you are getting good signal. If you use a splitter your signal for both will go down about 3 db if you use a good splitter if you use a cheap one the signal goes down more. but 3 db isnt gonna much difference if you got good signal

Yes, an inline amplifier may improve the signal also
