Have you ever had problems with a RCA television?

Samsung LE26R74 HD ready television and V+HD problems....PLEASE HELP, DESPERATE!?

• So I have the 26" Samsung LE26R74 HD ready television and I also have V+HD which are both connected together by a HDMI Cable which was given to me by the virgin media people. Apparently we still cant watch HD television. We've checked original channels and compared them to the new High defintion channels and for us there is no difference at all. I've seen our television in stores with a HD channel and it looks brilliant. Is there some sort of code anybody knows which could help??? Apparently the V+HD box is working perfectly so it must be the television, or even the cable. Can anybody help??? Im really trying to fix this

  First, be sure you accessing the HD channels on the HD tier. Most cable companies have the HD channels and SD channels available, with the HDs being on a higher numbered area. So if you are up on the HD set of channels and it still looks the same, you may need to adjust the output settings of the cable box. You'd need to find the HDMI line in the set up and be sure it's on 1080i, 16:9, and be sure your tv is on 16:9. You may have to call your cable company to get instructions on setting up the cable box, but that may be the problem.
